- This course is designed for radiology residents and specialists.
* Course description
- Interactive Brain Imaging Course used to be a “live” course, then it was redesigned to an “online” course.
- the IBIC will help you describe and variate the brain anatomy and terminology.
- This is a detailed course discussing basic brain radiological anatomy besides different brain pathological entities.
- The content is designed to prepare radiologists for prober clinical experience and to highlight the most common pathologies they encounter in the practical platform
- During each session of the course, you will be requested to engage in defined learning objectives
* Duration of the Course
- All the curriculum should be covered within 8 weeks.
- You shall join two “interactive sessions” per week to be able to finish the whole curriculum in time.
- Each “interactive session” is composed of a lecture, image-based questions and mcq.
* Learning outcome
- By the end of this course, the learners will be able to:
- Describe and variate the brain anatomy and terminology.
- Choose proper imaging technique for different clinical settings.
- Correlate between the fundamental pathologies and the possible imaging findings.
- Interpret the common radiological findings for commonest brain pathology.
* Curriculum of the course
- Pretest: It aims to measure the level of knowledge & skills of the learner before the course.
- Interactive Sessions: they aim to deliver the required knowledge and attain the learning objectives.
- A total of 17 lectures.
- Each lecture is followed by five quiz questions [imaging based].
- Each lecture is followed by four mcq questions [multiple choice].
- Posttest: It aims to measure the level of knowledge & skills of the learner after the course.
* Course requirements
1. To pass the course, the learner must:
- Take the pretest.
- View at least 80% of the lectures.
- Solve at least 80% of quiz and mcq questions.
- Take the post-test.
2. Fulfilling those requirements positively is required to receive your certificate, which will be provided through your application email.
