Target Audience

This course is designed for radiology residents, specialists, and consultants who are interested in developing or strengthening their knowledge and approach to Head & Neck Imaging.

Course Description

The Head & Neck Imaging Course: What You Need to Know was originally delivered as a live, one-day educational course and has been redesigned as a recorded online learning experience.

The course provides a focused overview of head and neck radiological anatomy, imaging terminology, common pathological entities, and their differential diagnoses.

The content is designed to help radiologists build a structured understanding of head and neck imaging and develop the ability to correlate clinical and pathological processes with their expected imaging appearances.

The course focuses on practical knowledge relevant to the interpretation of commonly encountered head and neck imaging findings.

Course Duration

The complete curriculum is designed to be completed within 5 weeks.

The course consists of 10 recorded lectures, organized into three learning sessions. Learners may progress through the lectures at their own pace while following the recommended 5-week schedule.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe the radiological anatomy of the head and neck using appropriate imaging terminology.

• Apply fundamental head and neck imaging terminology when describing findings.

• Correlate common pathological processes with their expected imaging appearances.

• Recognize common radiological findings encountered in head and neck imaging.

• Develop an organized approach to the differential diagnosis of common head and neck lesions.

• Apply the acquired knowledge to the interpretation of common head and neck imaging findings.

Course Structure

1. Pre-Test
A baseline assessment designed to explore the learner’s existing knowledge and skills before starting the course.

2. Recorded Lectures
A total of 10 recorded lectures, organized into three learning sessions:

• Session 1: 3 lectures

• Session 2: 3 lectures

• Session 3: 4 lectures

The lectures cover key aspects of head and neck anatomy, terminology, common pathologies, imaging findings, and differential diagnosis.

3. Post-Test
A final assessment designed to evaluate learning and knowledge acquisition following completion of the course.

Course Completion Requirements

To successfully complete the course and receive a certificate, learners are required to:

1. Complete the pre-test.

2. View at least 90% of the recorded lectures.

3. Complete the post-test.

Learners who fulfill all course completion requirements will be eligible to receive a course completion certificate, delivered to the email address provided during registration.
