* Course targeted group

• Emergency Radiology Interactive Course is designed for radiology residents and specialists.

* Course description

• Emergency Radiology Interactive Course used to be a “live” course, then it was redesigned to an “online” course.
• ERIC-Part 1: is an introduction to radiologic emergency in the trauma setting
• The content is designed to prepare radiologists for clinical experience and to highlight the most life-threatening pathologies in the post-traumatic emergency setting that warrants immediate surgical/medical management as well as less serious findings that warrants conservative management
• During each session of the course, you will be requested to engage in defined learning objectives

* Duration of the Course 

• All the curriculum should be covered within 4 weeks.
• You shall join two “interactive sessions” per week to be able to finish the whole curriculum in time.
• Each “interactive session” is composed of a lecture, image-based questions and mcq.

* Learning outcome

         By the end of this course, the learners will be able to:

1. • Choose proper imaging technique that suits the clinical situation.
   • Accurate and quick diagnosis of the life threatening radiology findings in the emergency room.
   • Differentiate between surgical and medical emergencies.

         During each session of the course, you will be requested to engage in defined learning objectives through image-based and multiple choice questions.

* Curriculum of the course

1. 1. Pretest: It aims to measure the level of knowledge & skills of the learner before the course
   2. Interactive Sessions: they aim to deliver the required knowledge and attain the learning objectives.
      • A total of 8 lectures
      • Each lecture is followed by quiz questions [imaging based]
      • Each lecture is followed by mcq questions [multiple choice]
      • The aim of the quiz/mcq questions is to test your knowledge OR teach you a new piece of knowledge
   3. Posttest:  It aims to measure the level of knowledge & skills of the learner after the course

* Course requirements

• • To pass the course, the learner must:
    • Take the pretest.
    • View at least 80% of the lectures.
    • Solve at least 80% of quiz and mcq questions.
    • Take the post-test.
  • Fulfilling those requirements positively is required to receive your certificate, which will be provided through your application email.
